Joint Paediatric-Orthodontic course: A team approach to children's dental care

This FDS course, in collaboration with the British Society of Paediatric Dentists and the British Orthodontic Society, is aimed at paediatric dentists and orthodontists and will investigate areas with important clinical implications for both specialties.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, participants will be provided with:

  • Update on impacted teeth and the role of the paediatric dentist and orthodontist
  • Contemporary use of CBCT for the Orthodontic-Paediatric Patient
  • Digital workflow and Artifical Intelligence in paediatric patients
  • Mental health and anxiety in adolescent patients
  • Transgender health – what we need to know

Format

The course will be delivered face to face as didactic lectures.
