We have published our 2017 impact review and the 2016/2017 annual report.
It is important that we remain open and honest with you about what we're doing and how we spend your membership fees. This year, we've completed another impact review so that we can keep you, our valued members up-to-date and at the forefront of everything we do. This years impact review highlights some of the important work we've been doing to support the profession and advance surgical care. It features key components from the 2016/17 annual report including:
- Key activities and achievements – including a 1.9% increase in membership in the 2016/17 financial year
- Financial activity – a consolidated statement of income and expenditure for the 2016/17 financial year
- College governance – including changes to RCS council and the election of current RCS President Professor Derek Alderson
- Future plans – an update on the our vision to advance surgical care through strategic priorities for 2016–19
