Council election results 2021

We are pleased to announce today (8 April 2021) that our Council has elected Miss Fiona Myint as Vice President. She will commence her three year term in July 2021 alongside Tim Goodacre and Tim Mitchell who will become Senior Vice President. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Cliff Shearman who comes to the end of his term as Vice President.
We are also delighted to announce that the membership has elected two new members to Council, and re-elected one member for a second term.
Congratulations to the following successful candidates who will commence their four-year terms in July:
- Miss Nuha Yassin (@NuhaZsurgeon), Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust
- Professor Christopher Lavy (@chris_lavy), Professor of Orthopaedic and Tropical Surgery and Consultant Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre
Congratulations to Mr William Allum, Consultant Surgeon, Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, for successfully re-standing and being elected for a second term.
