Council nominations 2020 are now open

Joining Council is an excellent opportunity to influence our professional policy and membership matters with the delegated authority of the Trustees. 

All UK surgical fellows and members should have heard from our partner Civica, regarding how to nominate themselves for Council. There are nine vacancies to fill.

Over the past year, Council has discussed major issues such as NHS pressures, working with the independent sector, surgeons as expert witnesses, research sustainability in surgery, College building plans, fundraising and future strategy. 

Find out more about the election process, where you can download the nomination form. From 24 February, the election stage will open and you will receive a separate email about this in due course.
