2024 Council and Board elections open

We are pleased to announce that voting is officially open for the 2024 elections for the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) Council and the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) Board. Fellows and members are encouraged to cast their votes based on the candidates’ election statements and choose who will best represent you and the issues you care about. There are 41 qualified and passionate candidates ready to step into 8 vacancies on Council, and 7 FDS candidates for 3 vacancies on the Board.

How to vote

Fellows and members can cast their votes by visiting our 2024 election website where you will also find full election statements from each candidate. You have been sent a unique voting link in an email from Civica Election Services on 20 February or a unique voting code via post from Civica Election Services. 

Voting will close at 5pm on Thursday 4 April 2024.

The successful candidates will be announced to the membership on Thursday 11 April 2024 and will commence their terms in July.
