2021 Council elections open

16 Feb 2021

We are pleased to announce that voting is now open for the 2021 Council elections. Fellows and members are encouraged to cast their votes based on the candidates’ election statements. There are 37 candidates standing for three vacancies on the Council.

What is the Council’s role?

Under the College’s Royal Charter, the Council has authority delegated to it from the trustees for all matters relating to professional policy and membership matters. Council meets ten times a year and are involved in the committees and working groups that drive forward our work on strategic priorities and other key areas.

We need you to vote so that future Council members reflect who you want and need to represent you.

How to vote

Fellows and members can cast their votes by visiting our 2021 election website where you will also find the election statements of those standing for Council. Please refer to the security codes that have been provided via email or the post from Civica Election Services.

Voting will close at 5pm on Thursday 1 April 2021.

The successful candidates will be announced at the Council meeting on Thursday 8 April 2021 and will commence their terms in July.
