2026 Hunterian, Arris and Gale and Arnott Lectureship Recipients

The Hunterian Lectureship is one of the most prestigious awards conferred by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, honouring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to surgical research and practice. Named after John Hunter, the pioneering surgeon and anatomist, this lectureship provides a platform for recipients to present their research to peers and inspire the surgical community.

Awarded through a rigorous selection process, the Hunterian Lectureship is a mark of excellence, recognising work that has the potential to shape the future of surgery. Congratulations to the eight recipients of the 2026 Hunterian Lectureship:

  • Tan Wei Shen – Optimizing the Diagnosis, Characterization, and Management of Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer: Towards Precision Pathways in Uro-Oncology
